I will use this packaging for C&H sugar, use the pantone color to identify the type of sugar, I will add more information on the colored space. in addition, I will mount the plastic paper inside of the packaging before mockup, so the sugar will be keep fresh easily.
I like the color-coding idea a lot! I like that you decided to make it really bold. Usually the sugar packaging doesn't specify the type of product with the color; usually it's just a line of small text somewhere and it's not easy to see from the first sight. Your layout is successful solution to this problem. I like the color combination: black and yellow, gray and craft paper for background. Also, I like the hexagonal shape of the package, it's very interesting visually.
ReplyDeleteI think the structure of the package is a good choice, it looks like it will keep everything fresh. Its sort of hard to tell whats going on in your image but I like the idea of the color coding. However Im wondering about the imgage in the front is that a placeholder for a diecut or is it just going to be an image?

I think I like this. It's kinda hard to tell. Is the box a hexagon? Are we seeing the side view or the front? Because I think both the brand name and the type of sugar should be on the front at the same time. Because if this is on the shelf in the store I wouldn't want to have to turn the box to see what kind of sugar it is.

Structure looks good... but hhaving the name of the product on one side and the kind of sugar it is on another doesn't really work too well. Its inefficient to the consumer.
ReplyDeleteColors look ok, but i would go with a lighter more neutral palette.
It's a good improvement. Well done. I think the brown color is working. White and brown have a good contrast and it's good that you are using white for your text on a brown background. If I wear to change anything, I would consider lightening up the lighter brown.

I agree with everyone on the color choice for each flavor. The box is interesting. I would like to see the actual shape on thursday for the mock up.
ReplyDeletemuch improved. no way you could have saved these to be clearer? have to see them better to be more critical
